| Cornerstone Artist’s Gallery is our building block as a web site gallery for Canadian Artists, to display and sell their works. This site is for artists of all forms of media who are working hard to get their works known. Cornerstone will be diligent in promoting our artists and the site and developing relationships with businesses, private collectors etc. This is not just a website to display your artwork it is a site that will be working like an artist representative that will be reaching out to the Canadian market as well as international markets to help our Canadian artists sell their artworks and make the Canadian Artists known to our own country as well as around the world.
Canada is a very rich country that has many talented people, Cornerstone wants all these artists to have the opportunity to be seen as a group of Canadian artists who now can show their works. This will result resulting in all of Canada and the world seeing what we have here is a complete multicultural, arts community united.
I have been working towards a site like Cornerstone for many years. After working with many artists over the years she has found that artist’s want to do what they do best and that is create. It is very hard for artists to get their works out into the public and it is truly a very difficult and trying process that can take many, many years. I have created this website for the artists themselves. It is a site for everyone around the world to see artworks that are purely Canadian and to share our wealth of professional works with a one stop web site, where the artworks can be purchased online, and customized to the medium and size that the customers are wanting for display in their business or home. It is also a place for other Canadian artist to see what their fellow artists are doing and giving these artists the opportunity to sell their works through the website without losing precious creative time.
Cornerstone is a website displaying and selling artwork as well as promoting the artwork on the site. We don’t just put up the work and leave it to the artists to sell. We will be working on making sure that the web site is known throughout Canada and the rest of the North American and International markets.
We have our own in house printing where we can reproduce the artworks on Giclee or many other fine art media. In house printing means less of a delay for the customer to receive the orders.
The web site itself is very plain and that is for good reason. I want the viewers to see the art work, not the website design first. The artists’ works are the important factor, thus l want to assure the works stand out and the viewer can see the images clearly. The artist will be able to sell originals as well as prints, sculptures, photography and many other artistic mediums.
I want the world to know our artists and the talent that we have here and by having a purely Canadian web site the viewers know that what they will be purchasing is Purely Canadian. |
