Carmen, a resident of rural Cochrane, was born and raised in Athabasca, Alberta. As a self taught artist, she has attended art workshops over the years with various instructors to learn her trade. Her paintings depict places she has been or ideas she has taken from various original photos. These ideas are incorporated through different painting concepts to create a single masterpiece.
